Looking at My Library
Only recently I had the pleasure of completely unpacking my books and getting them organized in bookshelves.
Organized = overflowing with some logic, alphabetic sorting and genre separations involved.
For me, this was a dream come true. Because they are not JUST in bookshelves. They are in a room full of ONLY bookshelves.
That's right.
My. Own. Library.
Sure, it is just the second unused bedroom in the apartment my boyfriend and I share. Point is, though, I HAVE A LIBRARY.
When this realization sunk in, that inner bibliophile teen from the past inside of me squealed with joy. I have made it, I realized. I have gotten my own library, an ultimate bookworm goal.
This has inspired me to start a new book blog. Over the last few years, work and life has taken far more of my free time than it used to. Due to this, I have hardly been reading and certainly not blogging. But it is time to change this!
Welcome to my new blog - Tomes in My Thirties - a place where I will post my thoughts, reviews, et cetera as often as I can. I hope you enjoy it and choose to comment or participate as often as possible!
